Pauline Hignett’s work always
contains a selection of the following
elements: Everyday objects, repetition, humour and words all of which
are linked together by her love of textiles. The source of her design
ideas varies but her choice of media reflects her interest in pattern,
colour and texture and the seemingly endless variety that can be
achieved. She aims to make beautiful work from ordinary items and
explores the possibilities they provide.
